The gutters are up on the shed — step one of rainwater collection is done. A 16×32 roof hands me around 300 gallons for every inch of rain that falls on it, which works out to 10,000+ gallons a year. Paired with hydroponics, that's enough to make the farm water self-sufficient. Here's the math.
